Re: My 79 Mk1 Scirocco.... Got low
fml i havent seen one of these around since early 90's hats off to you sir for owning that 100% beut!
how much did you pick that up for if you dont mind me asking
yeh of course just pointing out that he was lucky after the 'good piece' of driving that the car wasnt right behind it as im a trucker on a single carriage way theres always cars behind my truck (literally feet away).
yes to both mate he even pushed them around to see if there was any play in them, when i mean harder breaking i mean foot all the way down straight away - passenger head into windscreen type of braking lol
its like mine everytime i break slightly they squeek but when i break a bit hard they dont i've only had them on for about 300 miles so far gets annoying when im driving in town and it squeels like its a bus.
im going to give it a blast either tonight or tommorow morning ant take it from there, they where fitted of sidewaysdanny of here so i dont think they where fitted wrong but can never be sure.
no way! lucky person whoevers got it, i really think it is a good piece of kit. i had a powertec one and that made the car feel less resposive compared to the normal induction but this seems to help a little while giving it the beans. got it for £30 bargain
