also, on my Fiesta, there was no noise from the box whatsoever, but a huge puddle of gearbox oil on the floor under the car.

Not necessarily... can sometimes mean a dead speedo cable I think... But in my case its the box.

Right, just went down to test it, and it IS a flat batt thank goodness :D

Whining, crunching gears, and I also had major speedo needle wobble aup to about 30mph

James... its the gearbox. Whines soo loudly u can hear it over the induction, zorst and stereo, and 2nd & 3rd gear are touch and go :sick:. Not using it at the mo obv, and I went to just start it up, and it wouldnt start, and the hazards randomly flashed at me :confused:HOPING its just a flat...

Almost had mine run out of fuel. Well the light was permantly on, I was 40 miles from home, and had no money. I crawled back to Worc (15 miles from home) and luckily my Mum met me there with money for fuel lol (at 1:30am) Had 340 miles out of it before to a tank which is pretty good :D...

yeah Ive had a small race with 1 in the Williams. I was backing off a bit to avoid hitting it (raced on a straight up a hill)
