Theres a easier way to get into the car ;) Pull up the bottom window seal from around the window, In the bottom/middle of the window there is a white tab, Push the tab out or break it and the window falls down :D

What gearbox casing did ye use??

(on a mk1 Clio) There are two bolt holding the fan in the the scuttle panel area!

With a 172 box the original airbox won't fit without cutting :) You have to use the bottom gearbox mount from a 172 and use the top have of the Williams mount :)

No no!! :) The two ph1 1.2's I worked on both had the alternator at the back of the engine! ​some renault 19's also had this setup! Edit.... ​ Lol @ Danny... I'll get you a picture later :p

Alternator is at the back of the engine lads ;) There is two seperate belts.... Your power steering belt is gone though....

Just thought... ​ If you use the r5 brackets... That means getting rid of power steering....!?!? I was told to get mk1 megane or mk1/2 laguna. 1.6 iirc? ​but I checked a couple of them a scrap yard and they either had ac or looked different so I don't know...

No need to swap ecu's over. ​keep the original ecu and everything will work perfect. (also the ecu,uch,key and barrel are all connected so they HAVE to go together!!)

Gotse I think it's spelled? For Williams clio's anyway.... They change the brands every couple of years though. ​ one lad on clio16valver used bga valve seals. They were pumping out oil after a year and a half!! Another fella had his bga HG go after 2 weeks.

With the front 300mm disc's off a senic... What mm are the rears? They could probably be used to upgrade the rear brakes :)

There very bad for valver/Williams anyway.... ​ Personally I'd just buy Renault gaskets ! :)

The rocker cover should be the same as his is ph2 no?? I thought just the ph1 rocker was different as it had a breather.... You can use the 182 manifold....but you gotta get a 182 cat/decat with it.
