Yer the guy was a dick. Think he intially thought though that the car had been lowered by altering the torsion beam(or is it bar?) as you do when you lower a pug. He said it was to do with too lines that line up on each wheel or somet and how lowering it moves these apart. i dunno what he was on...
Ok robfenn. Fair enougth comment.
Soapsuds take the blind of it rattles so much. The windows tinted and in the cars with the popup sunroof they dont get the blind anyway. the light shouldnt bother you. if it does tint the window yourself. would be pretty easy to do and wouldnt have to be perfect
Depends on the finish you want and stuff. The more paint you use the better finish you get and obviously paint costs. When your getting flips it depends on what colour you car is originally and wether that will work with the flip.
i know a guy who got an axgt completly sprayed for £300 and guy...
Agree with John. Was planning to go light at front then dark at back but when i saw 20% on my mates i had to have it.
A dont in my opinion is dont pay over £200 and use a company which guarntes(sp?) its work

Robfenn so am i right in thinking you think the vtr is a warm hatch and that the 1.6...
my mums lost the keys for her car. Its a new corsa. Shes lost the actual key and the extra keyfob she used for the alarm.
Whats the best way to go about replacing these. a new key from vauxhall is going to cost £80. can we just make a copy of the key weve got and then buy an alarm keyfob...
Ive got one too. they are quick. Not sure about them been quick for a 1.6 16v(think vts, pug gti) but they are quick.
Vtrs are no problem neither are 1.6 fiestas. Beats the slower end golf gts.
Im impressed with the 8.8 run, ive just got to get mine timed.
Like the guy said though if...
Youll get the option of just spraying just the plastic bits or the whole front bumper/backbumber. Bodyshop advised me to do all front and back bumper-only costing £30 more
I didnt pay my excess. They replaced like for like. Also gave me £80 for 8 cds with us both mutually agreeing £80 was a fair price.
You dont always get list price either. To get a decent price bartering needs to be done
Well by increasing his excess by an estimate of £700 (probably from £100 to £800) he brought his cover down by £600. So it depends what risk you think you are. Id say the chances of having an accident in a year are less then 50% in which case it makes financial sense to increase the excess.

£350 for it at pentagon but that was with some special security film
Ive found that 1.4 8v model cars tend to be pretty similair performance to 1.2 16vs.
From what ive read and not experience the only common 1.2 model out their that will beat you is the punto. I believe theirs a 1.2 variant pushing 85bhp. You wouldnt beat a 1.6 punto sporting either(as was...
Just a thought but there isnt much difference between the second hand prices of the 1.4 and 1.6. even knew from importers ive seen the 1.6 going for 8600 and the 1.4 going for 8400.
Youd get your 110bhp. Could work out cheaper and more reliable than mods
Downside is a ridiculous insurance...
