It is Girlfriend with the car, the one driving is me though. I will check out the 19.5 or 22.2mm thickness. Yeah I guess I will invest money in an RS tuner/intake or exhaust.
I will leave the drums as is, and yeah handbrake is INCREDIBLE fun.
Just my opinion on this overrun map thing, I believe that RS clio itself is silly to begin with, so adding more character to it seems just right. When I show up in it saying it is my weekend fun car people react with disbelief, however, it all changes after I start the engine or pop up the hood...
fuf, so it is a clio sport!!! yeeeeeeeee *danceparty*. However, the question still stands, how do I change the drums to discs, how expensive and hard would it be? and all in all is it even worth it? Also, should I check if my axle is somehow the wrong one?
Surely then something is not right. I know for certain that previous owner did NOT care for this car. it had horrid wheels, pieces of interior was missing, tires were bad, it had missing bolts, and the engine exploded at some point after a good 3 months. However, now it has another heart...
Well I am not sure, I know I did switch out all of the springs/shocks when I got the car, and they were definitely Renault Sport.
Here are more pics, it might help somehow.
So here I am back at home, this is the number you are looking for: VF1CB0M0F22558306
Here are the pictures:
(as you can see on the back wheels that there are drum breaks painted white)
It has all the badges and it is registered as renault clio sport model. It does have a fitting 2.0L and all...
Hello guys, I have a 172 rs clio ph1 and I noticed that it has rear drum brakes. What I want to figure out is if there is a kit to upgrade them to discs and how difficult/worthwile it is?
That is highly unfortunate, it is such a fun little car. I somehow have Clio Fever again, the wish to mod and improve it, and love it more. It is quite interesting, because the DD that I use is Mitsu Evo X, but somehow, this little silver RS clio 2 ph1 wins my heart more often.
Well that is a big let down then. I was hoping after so many years there would be something out there that would be easy to use for tuners. However, as I see now, RS tuner is my best bet then.
Not to steal the thread, but I wonder, would taking my 172 RS clio to a local dyno tuner would be better then RS tuner? Or is that somehow problematic?
Well I did look and find that there are threads that have fixes for the car and so on, however, they are for members only.
Anyhow, if no one is up for it I will just search some more.
Hello,
I am yet a new member to clio club and I own a 2000 Clio RS ph1 which I love.
I also happen to own a mitsu evo x, and read a bunch of forums. What I really do miss on this great forum is a good list of mods for our cars.
What I mean is that if someone from the community with a bunch...
Just a quick question is it just me or do most of the cars look like their front is sitting lower then the rear? Mine also does it and im not sure if it ought to be that way.
About the meet, I am all the way from Lithuania, so no go for me. :[
Hello, I am new to this forum, but I have read quite a few threads on it. Hence noone seems to appreciate my little race car, I thought you guys would!
Some pictures with my girl and some at rallycross training grounds! Hope you like the little devil.
