What year is it? I guess Mk1 or 2 judging by the size of the hole for the front window? but not very easy to tell from the pics.
Personally id keep em silver, if you really want to change them though id say anthra although anthra is common as muck these days lol.
Maybe rather than spending money having those wheels powdercoated you could upgrade to the 16" 172 wheels??
Has anyone used the above, am going to detail my car this weekend (weather permitting) Have the Meguires quick clay kit, Using Autoglym SRP, then Autolym EGP, then was going to use the above.
Any thoughts

Sportlines lower slightly more than pro's, but i think Pro's are better for track use. iirc
however I have sports on mine and am really pleased with them, much improved handling, i think the majority of people on here go for the sports.

Thats good, im still awaiting a cheque from an accident in June 2006. Although they have now confirmed i was not at fault (the Police report should have told them all they needed to know). and the cheque is "in the system" ill believe it when i see it,
Yeah it would need to be much colder for a longer period of time to freeze the lines than it would to just get surface freezing in the nozzles, they were bloody useful on the 214 tbh
would have thought they would be heated really, even my old rover 214 had heated washer jets, dont think the 172 has them though - certainly no wires running to them
I might give it a go this weekend if I can purchase a suitable relay. Will post up the results if i get round to it. Might investigate the lights on when unlocking mod further aswell.
