He has a 1.4 though smartarse!! they use different plugs! I always thought NGKs where best, until i did 40 mile with my ngks in with the engine getting worse, then i went into work (renault) and all the techys where telling me NGK will ruin the coils! and they even had letters from Renault...

I got a set of NGK plugs sat on my windowsill next to my old coil, plugs have only got bout 4o mile on them, and they burnt the pack out :( got renault ones in now, which i believe are champion!

there are a list of things that kill the packs 1. unplugging HT leads from spark plug with the engine running! pi$$es the engine management off and damages the coil packs, disconnect injector!! 2. jump starting other people with engine running, (coltage drop and spike destroys them) 3. NGK...

you might want to put it bk on to stop the water getting in there (not the cover is much good anyway!!)

You have to rotate the anti tamper device on the back of the cover to get it off. Its a gold wheel with holes in it, if you use a mirror to see down the back youll find it, use a small allen key to rotate it undone, takes about 7-8 mins of undwinding but be patient it will come!! Not many...

Just use white spirit, Meths or the best one is lighter fluid! all these will remove it! even petrol! Heat it up with a haridryerfirst to make it peel easy! but be aware that heating a localised spot on your window very hot may crak the glass, so prefebly do it on a warm day!

My friends been driving round in his mini for ages with 14 on back, and 13s on front, cant really notice the difference tbh!!

if you paint, and carefully put wheel back on ,then do otherside, put wheel on, go in for hour, then once touch dry, go out and do an emergency stop they should be fine!! done mine many a times and thas what i do!!
