An import must be worth less than a UK so unless you got it at a dscounted price I who insist on some money back. A UK car must be worth more.

I think your lucky to have an alarm if its an import. Might be wrong but im sure a lot of imports have no alarm.

[Its only the 172/182 which suffer the rest are fine. Why only 172/182?? Is it just the bracket that rusts & makes the exhaust fall off. This was replaced just before I bought mine so fingers cross mine should be ok for a while.

Only done 23k. But it's still been exposed to the same weather conditions. Is milage a big factor I would have thought it would be the age of the car??

I have read a lot of threads about how sh*t the standard pipes are. I.E rust and fall off Mines of a 52 plate and still going strong. Bracket replaced on last service but other than that looks fine. Any one else got a 52 reg or older still running on the original pipe.

Have the same problem with mine mate. My rattles at 80mph or just over 4000rpm Some people on here think its the exhaust heat shield being loose but I haven't had a chance to have it checked out.

Should be changed at 70k as per the stealers hand book so should be done I will get mine done well before then though,just seems a lot of milage before the first plug change.

5k topps but I would not have paid more than 4.5k. If I had bought that car it would have over 80k by this time next year and be worth no more than 3k. You pay for what you get.
