The surface just feels a bit rough in places. I think it must be tree sap or pollen. I thought paint cleanser did the same job?

Bought my CUP172 two months ago and paid £6,700.00 for it on a late 52,was a bit more than others I looked at but only had 15k on the clock so I though it was well worth it. What I would add is that its hard to get a good one as a lot have been thrashed and trashed. I looked a a few before...

Get the CUP172 badge for the tailgate. I paid £12 for my local dealer and it adds a nice touch:cool: You would'nt want people to think it was a f/f when they pull up behind you:rasp:

Bought mine about a month ago now on a 52 plate with 16k on the clock and its mint apart from a few scuffs on the wheels. 5k for a warranty is a lot of money but a I understand where your coming from,piece of mine and all that.

Put 5K in your savings and buy a low milage 172cup.

Thats just not true a 172CUP gets more attention on the road than a f/f I have seen it with my own eyes. Put a standard f/f next to my CUP and 90% of people will say the cup is better looking from the out side and thats a fact.

I thought the tile of this thread was 172 vs CUP And no one can argue the fact that the CUP is better looking than a standard f/f 172. Where did the 182 comment come from,they look as good if not better than the 172cup.

Going back to the original thread!! You get noticed in a CUP where as in a standard f/f you don't. I would never consider a f/f for this reason alone. CUP RULES
