Is 10w/40 the correct grade according to Renault then??? Im confused:S

I think I better mention it when I take it in. Do they tend to show the grade of oil used on the service receipt so I can make sure im not running around on 10w/40.

Service being done by a stealer on Friday. Just wondered it anyone knows if they give you a choice of oil. I.E Synthetic Also read some where that the wrong grade oil has been put in by dealers. Can someone just confirm to me the oil grade for the CUP172 Cheers

I would get that checked out with the DVLA if I was you. That could cause a problem with your insurance. Even the DVLA know the CUP rules;)

I would say they are about even and considing the ff is 2k more the CUP new it's by far the better buy.

No one makes a CUP look like a f/f but plenty of people do the reverse. Why I ask myself.

He told me they would come out as new. Are they Laquer from the factory or Powder coated?? I know power coat gives the best finish but I thought if you curb them it's worse than if they are Laquered?? I don't mind paying that little bit extra seeing as you don't have to leave your car...
