sorry, its a 172 cup. where is the sensor..??

Please could someone point me in the right direction..... I fitted a chipped ECU last night and now my Temp gauge is always at the bottom of the gauge. could it be a sensor or maybe the new ECU..??? thanks

how does the connector come off the ecu.....does it just pull off or is their a clip.? I'm changing it in a few days so I'm just thinking ahead. thanks

I'm trying to take the ecu out of my 172 cup. I have the battery out but I can't seem to remove the top black metal cover from the ecu.....is their a guide or something on here cos I can't seem to find one. thanks

but I'm confused on whats best for my clio 172 cup..... I'd like better low-mid range power. do I go for..................... 1) chip / remap. 2) full manifold back exhaust / ign filter. 3) decat on standard exhaust, ign filter and ???? 4) something else ( I only have arround £300...

hi, I just bought a (53plate) clio 172 cup, the one thing I don't like is that their isn't a Central rear seat belt, would it be easy to fit one....would all the bolt holes be their..??? thanks

if a de-cat is fitted to a standard exhaust will that increase the bhp etc..?? or is that just waisting my money and should wait until I can afford the complete system.? thanks

so If I get a de-cat for my standard exhaust and a chip what will that give me in the way of speed / bhp.

hi, I MIGHT have to sell my car ( worse luck ) its a W reg 2000, Clio 172 in silver, it has FSH and its done 82,000. it has 11 months MOT 6 months tax.....all the normal extras inc 17" NEW alloys and tyres and a viper filter...????? price...???????

Finally after nearly TWO weeks my insurance co. has said they are going to fix my car.....they said it was 50-50, but at least I get my car back.

I dont know if the insurance co. will write it off or not....????? it needs a new front bumper, wing, trye, alloy is a bit damaged, two airbags, it looks to have bent the subframe and the wishbone.

the tyres had about 6 months or so to go.

Im not too bad, badly bruised left thumb, and the airbag caught my watch and draged it half way up my arm until the strap broke, so a few cuts too.
