Homerjay do this little test for me; turn igntion on, turn the steering wheel left to right repeatably at a pretty quickish speed but not so you are turning the front wheels do you get a noticable but not overly bad knock or clunk everytime you turn the wheel; Yes or no?

It does feel as though it is something like that although oim not a mechanic, wouldnt i feel play or abnormalitly somewhere else?

When the car is stationary, ignition on, turning the wheel from left to right it is a distinctive clunk,knock noise not sure of the eiei noise more of a knockknock. To me it sounds like its something to do with the steering column it almost gives the impression that something has come loose...

I cant say ive notcied it until recently, when i was driving roung a bend i went over some sort of line in the road and i got this horrid knock through the steering wheel...... I also notice it when i go over some bumps in the road or im reversing and turning and hit a slight ridge in the road...

LOL, I cant beleive i never knew that should have read the manual:oops: Al that time im driving around with it on, and when ive been on motorway journeys in the pouring rain i switch the switch thinking "im being all safety like"............ What a wally......

So let me get this straight when you hit the switch and it lights up that means its off???????:confused:

Cracking motor the only problem i am having is with the after sales they seem to create more problems than put right the smaller probs...

I am in the Sidcup area (south east) i would prefer someone to come to my door , dont mind paying that little bit extra.....

Any more info about them bill where are they based? Did you have too send the wheel away? Are there companys who will do it why you wait??

The inevitable has happened, although i thought it wouldnt have taken a bit longer than a few months to scuff a wheel...... Where would be a good place to get it done? Im really paranoid that if i get it done at any old place the wheel will come back a slightly different shade, I live in...

I expect all performance cars to have some rattles, lightweight, hard suspension etc..... All part of the package.

Also if you pull them in that little bit more they stop whistling, well mine any how...

When i bought my 182 i opted for the spoilers only i hadnt seen the dark alloys in the flesh my main concern was that coz i was buying a black car i didnt want it all dark...... Now i really feel i may be missing out and if had the chance to buy again i would definatly go for the upgrade , has...

Are the running that much higher than a 182 for instance? I mean i expect it to be but how much more to keep it maintained......

Thats the thing ive not noticed any funny buisness from the mechanics it seems to run fine it only happens when it reaches the bite point, that point of engagement, If it was the mount wouldntit do it all the time? it only seems to be a from cold thing! Could it be movement in the exhaust...

Since ive been driving around with both windows down..... I get in the car drive away everything seems fine, then i change gear and i can hear this loud clunk/ squeek its everytime i hit the biting point, in first and second and ocassionly 3rd and is alot worse when my car is underload. Then...
