Is that actually a Whiteline ARB? As it looks slightly different to mine. Not that it matters though. Just seems the arms are a bit short.
The L bracket needs turning anti clockwise a tiny bit. The bush basically needs to be sitting flat on the bracket, not being crushed on one side more...
No problem with it being at an angle. But hard to make out from that drawing if there would be anything wrong with it. Best to get some actual pictures if you're not sure.
Sounds fine to me @imprezaworks. Mine are also slanted. You just need to make sure the little L bracket is leaning with them, so you're bushes are straight and not being crushed on the back side.
There's a fair weight saving to be had!!
I would personally pay up and only get the marguard ones now. Mine have scratched like a b**ch on the sliders with barely any use.
You can also get them with some kind of UV coating like I did, which stops the car from being like a greenhouse in direct...
So am I mate. A little bit of hassle having to take the box out again and send it up there but at least I know it'll be sorted for good.
Also means I need to sort out my tracking again when it's all fitted back in though.
Little update....
So on Saturday I bolted everything back up and put the box oil back in. One litre at a time, extensively checking for leaks in between. All looked good. I even ran the car on the axle stands to get a good look whilst it was all spinning. Still looking good I put the wheels...
The skills you have are just ridiculous. I've said it before and i'll say it again after every update probably lol.
Love it.
I can't remember if you said it before, but where do you do the majority of this work? It seems as though you should have a huge high tech workshop with the levels of...
Oh yeah sorry, to look at.
I've never actually driven one. But I'm aware how capable they are!
Although I did own a normal 1.35i for two years and found that quite boring. Soulless.
Looks good.
I've just never been a fan of these cars though. Find them really dull. Not something I would want to own but I can appreciate they are very capable.
Porsche warranty is the best out there, covers everything. Apart from wear and tear items obviously.
To get this warranty you either have to buy a car from the main dealer, or from a private seller whose car is still within a warranty period (independent dealership involvement voids all...
@AlexW came down this weekend to help me sort out the recent issues.
After speaking to Gripper (who actually phoned me back on a Saturday afternoon - very impressive customer service) we confirmed there was an issue with the diff. The metal sleeve and the splines had become detached. When the...
Oh nah, I wash them after I've finished and leave to dry on the draining board.
Probably in my bucket for a few hours though, not just half an hour.
They're proper ones, from CLC.
What I'm finding is that the bristles/hairs on the brush, whatever they are. Start to fall out from the base. Then once it starts molting, it goes down hill very quickly.
Does anyone else find that Iron-X destroys the Valet Pro wheel brushes very quickly? I'm assuming it's the Iron-X as I don't really use it with anything else.
Literally got through 3-4 of them in the last couple of months. Been using them to brush over the Iron-X to agitate the fallout.
I've got your keys with me today
Love the cup. Feels very fast! Would be interesting to see what power it's actually making!
Loving the ducts too, even though you butchered it to start off with, they still look properly done!
