Keep the cup mate. If you've sold the bodies because you feel you can't make enough use of the car with them on. Then you've no real need to sell up and buy one with boost. It would be nicer for the road, but then you'd be getting at silly speeds before really benefiting from it, and on the...
I have ITB's. The noise is something else. I drive my car once a month. It's SO loud and exciting when I rev it out, the adrenaline rush is something I could never get bored of.
It almost feels too scary to rev out on the road. But mine is fully stripped and on hardcore suspension so it...
I finally had a chance to spend a couple of hours on the car this weekend, so I got the the ASTs and the rear ARB fitted.
All seems good, although on a test drive around the block I'm sure I could hear some knocking. I can't see anything obvious though.
I'll re-check over the suspension parts...
Awesome car, awesome project, awesome results!!!
Hats off to you!
Bet it goes like a scolded cat.
Look forward to the day I see this and can have a passenger ride!
Oh yeah, next time I'll go straight to these guys at the AST factory.
It's a little annoying really, as I was going to send it to them the first place, but I thought I'd give Cooksport a call first. I was told on the phone that they should be able to get me better customer service with their...
Spoke to a very friendly guy at AST Holland at the beginning of the week. After a discussion we agreed the coilovers don't need a service and he was just going to repair the damaged one.
He's had to send the bill to Cooksport though, so I'm just waiting for this to be sent on to me now.
The...
Nice to hear they're doing all they can. But a fuel pump going on such a low miles is not good to hear.
I wonder what it would have cost if you were out of the warranty period!
Still not got a clue what's going on with my ASTs. Cooksport are as hard to get in contact with as AST it seems. Going to start trying with AST now as I'm not getting any response from Cooksport!
Sent both my rear ASTs to Cooksport on the 16th (delivered on the 18th) as instructed. Cost me £35 to send them insured unfortunately
I was told last Tue (29th) that they were in the pipeline to be taken to AST for a repair, not sure if that's been done yet and feel a bit out of the...
Not a bad watch. Good to see two great cars being driven properly.
Good effort from the Ring Taxi too for being able to keep up with passengers on board.
Looks absolutely awesome mate. Such a high quality build. Even little things like the center caps still show how high you've set the general benchmark.
Properly love this. Looking forward to see the dyno results and a video!
Looks like a bloody lovely kit.
What discs are those?
Also, forgive my ignorance, but what is the main benefit of this kit? Considering the rear brakes don't do much anyway? Is it primarily for a bigger/stronger bearing upgrade?
What he said ^ LOL
My Shift light is compatible for 1-12 cylinder engines. And the F4R is classed as a 2 cylinder on the shift light because of the cylinders firing in pairs.
@ohara You have to register your interest on the forum. There's a list with forum names and cars. For this venue the list was only 600 slots. Only once you become one of the 600 are you then allowed to park in the main display area. Everyone else, whether they be 601 upwards on the reserve...
