This GT3 RS belongs to the guy I bought my Cayman off. We've stayed in contact as we're both big Porsche fans so it was nice to catch up yesterday.
Do love a GT3!
Why would you want to change what you've got now?
You've got great wheels and they come in a great offset of ET35.
It's what I've got, I've just added an additional 5mm spacer on the front.
That's exactly what I've been trying to figure out 😧 As even with the standard Renault rubbers the nut still wont fit.
It's almost as if there's a design fault and the threaded section wasn't made long enough.
Nah buddy, it goes on easy and smoothly. It was also supplied with the...
That's because you can get the nut on yours properly :P
It's a great bit of kit mate. After I fitted it I did a soaking wet track day and I couldn't believe the amount of grip or pull it could give me out of the corners. Even on semi slicks. I was expecting to slip around like I had done in...
I've spoken to Cooksport and AST today. Waiting to hear back from Cooksport now.
They could possible be repaired locally. But that would almost be a make do bodge, which could also affect the value if I ever need to sell them on. I just want them back to how they were really.
As some of you might know, I've always had an issue with the fitting of my rear top mounts since buying the ASTs. I'm not sure why but for some reason the nut has never been able to get on enough to be locked.
I've got the Powerflex black top mount kit fitted, as shown below. This is nipped...
Not been in here for a while. But what a bloody good update for me to see!
Looks incredible mate! Such an enjoyment to read your updates and see it progressing too.
Such high quality workmanship with everything you do.
Dare I ask how much the brake disc setup costs? Possible to run it with...
Lovely, thanks for sharing that with us matey.
I know how much that all would have cost you!! But it's worth it with these cars.
Shame about the gearbox though.
I'd speak to AST directly to get an adjuster. A lot more hope than with Curtis I think.
As you say, when he's sorting out 10s of thousands of pounds worth of suspension for race teams. Little things, like an adjuster and my shock bolts are probably right at the back of his priority list...
Thanks for the passenger laps at Bedford.
Car is stunning and you've done such a high quality job with everything you've changed!]
Looking at your message now and getting my shopping list together hehe
Thanks mate  must have taken you ages to look through all of it.
I wouldn't drive my car to a track day now. One because like you say, it's nice to know I can get home ok worst case. Two, because it's awful to drive on the road haha!
My trailer is a PRG. Not entirely sure on the...
