Turns out my voltmeter was reading wrong! :o
I measured my mates car which was 12v and 14v with engine on. The checked my battery and it was 8.2v In conclusion, im thinking a new alternator shoudl sort it!
A battery with only 8.2v wouldnt be enough to power any electrics right?
After my thread last week: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=477353
Havn't got around to fixing the problem but I just removed the battery to charge it and the battery is reading 18-20 volts?
I'm sure this isn't normal! it doesn't even have enough power to operate the central...
Bring you car to uni if you can afford to, i didn't in my first year and missed it so much, now I have bought another car and back at uni and its awesome!
I need to send something to a friend, but it is very large and taking forever over msn. Any ideas? Are there any sites i can upload to and download from quickly?
Funny you should say this, because earlier in the night when i was leaving london to head up north, im sure i seen the battery light flash once very quickly but thought nothing of it. Ill get on it tomorrow!
Cheers!

Re: Hertfordshire Photo meet - Fish & Eels Pub, January 3rd, 12pm.
Hertfordshire University in Hatfield has a good multi storey car park that could be used? I know the civic and the glanza club had a few meets there as i was there in my clio
wishbone balljoints perhaps. Had a similar thing on my mk1 which I couldn't work out until I hit a pothole and it snapped completely leaving me stranded with the wheel ripping half the arch off! Get it check sooner rather then later!
lol!
clean the mating surafces with a wire brush, you may need new gaskets so try and not damage the old 1's, i always use exhaust paste on the joints aswell.
Also spray some good penetrating fluid on the old nuts a good few hours if not the day before going at them.
I know they are not that many turbo mk1 clios about but no-one seems to supercharge them! I would love to do it but was trying to work out if it was possible (without too much ballache!). Im guessing the space in the valver bay does not help, but surely there is enough space for a small charger...
