There are a few dodgy Chips out there which dont really do much... that 172 probably had one of these, in which case they hardly do anything.. If anything they take AWAY performance!!!! Have a look here ...

Can someone tell me wtf's going on here?!!?.. :)... is it people with a MK1 RS, and changing the front headlights, bump, bonnet and wings so its a Mk2?.. is THAT whats going on?.. if so... why?!... if your gonna go through that much hassle then go crazy and use parts off a completely different...
ooh god, no sorry.... its wierd, that side on view makes the car look like its a normal buggo clio wanting to look like a sport... Try get the same grille i have on my cup, ms design
Thanks J3ned your a star mate... would you say it would be dodgy keeping the superchip and adding those cams and inlet work? - i take it the superchip ISNT capable, or able to cope with those mods... why pay for an rsport if my schip would be fine... ta!
Sorry to hijack... is the Rsport ecu similar to Superchip?. My cars "schipped" but would be worried about adding cams and doing the inlet mod incase it erm, runs lean (have i got that right?) - thought you needed to go down the SMT route when messing with the cams and inlet
Actually Lager you have a point there... sometimes ive noticed the guage be much different after a restart.. i think what i meant was when its REALLY low.. kinda 1 mil left between the needle and nothing :)
Also, this "running low on juice ruins engines" argument... Clios have a plastic fuel...
Looks great... thing is i thought MOTs can be a pain if your wheels stick out of the arches.. im pretty sure a mate a few years ago had one failed due to this... or at least a warning...
Always go by the petrol dial... I had a spate of my speedo not working, which in turn effected the computer which made the "amount of petrol" display drastically drop every few mins, eventually getting the petrol light go on even when my analogue dial showed half a tank..
