You'd likely pick up a decent set of 182s with tyres for around 200. I'd stick your current ones on ebay mate. See what sort of interest you get. Oh and definitely lower it! Just loweres my 182. Looks a lot better, feel those bumps though!

Really like this and is coming along nicely My only bit of advice would be to change the alloys to perhaps 182's. Think that would set it off.

As Gus says. Its hopeless. Your best bet now other than replacing the xenons is to "pack out" the lights with hard cardboard to hold them into position and hope they pass mot. Very unfortunate .

Yeah. I've come up against alot of tdis. Off the lights etc the clio kills them up to stupid speeds. But once rolling, not a chance IME. Pisses me off. Wish i still had my mg zr diesel!

Mine never changed tbh with the rs map. Just idled better. But its trues decent powered turbo'd diesel will keep up if not pulls way from an rs clio..shame really. Long enough stretch I'd imagine the 172/182 would eventually pull away.. crap when you think about it.

Bought one from auto world renault parts (former trader on here) 52 quid with new loom. Awkward to fit new loom i found very limited space..came supplied with heat shrinks..These were s**t so used normal connectors .

It worked after cleaning it but decided to replace it with the new loom for peace of mind really.
