Plenty of room behind it and used to fit in my old 1.2 clio but seems real tight fit and won't go all way in? any help be great!

What camera etc you using? think usual settings are low ISO high aperture and then trial and error with BULB setting perhaps? Also seeing as everyone else will say it.... pics of missus;)
