Managed to wheel spin off a round about and stuff my car into the curb today. Wouldnt drive at all, think it was stuck in gear. Had to be towed to the Ren garage, passenger front wheel was pointing in a strange direction. Byw bye 3years no claims.:@
done 6k in my contis and theyre nearly down to the wearbar, i dont wheel spin an awful lot so theyre not exactly a hard wearing tyre. Uniroyals for me next i think
had the engine mounts/suspension replaced due to clonking thats about it. Ive always got the cd player on so if theres any other noises i cant hear them.
get the money in your account then go make their life a misery, thats not good business practice so make sure they know about it. Id have a word with the CAB and see if they can shed any light on the matter.
47litres is my record
arent they 50litres/ 9 gallon? there must be some excess somewhere as mine was only just into the red. and it goes ---- on the display when youve 40 odd miles left
do you not know anything? number one rule when owning a Renault is never take it back to the dealers for any work other than warrenty work.
You get charged a metric sh*tload of cash and they have to have it back another two time to actually do the job right. Buy the bits from...
if im not concentrating i stall mine, its well easy to do. Especially when doing maneovers on full lock, you have to give it that bit more right foot. I stall my brothers megane all the time when i hit full lock.
found another scratch on mine last week, with any luck itll polish up not too bad and i can use a bit of touch up paint on it.
had mine two weeks befoe it was done all down the passenger side costing £250 for three panels.
i have to park mine on the street so i just hope people leave...
I wouldnt trust Renault anywhere near my car. Its only going back there because of the warrenty.
I used to take my old car to a back street garage, cheap and would do all manner of jobs for cash. Cant be any tighter than the 1.9 diesel clio, now there is no room in that engine bay what so ever.
bloke at work had the 1.4 105bhp model and it spent a good month in the garage having the engine stripped down to find out what the problem was. He told me it was like someone banging two bits of metal together, ie not good. They fixed it in the end but i think it toally f**ked the engine, so...
Bloke i used to work with was done for speeding away from the police and found drunk and asleep in his car. He got a good qc and he got him off with a shed loads of points (one below a ban) and a fine.
He said he was in the Gulf war, in the army serving his country for 10 years etc. Jammy...
Not my type of thing. My mate has a Focus (1.8) and it handles brilliantly, loads of fun but its not fast enough or Supra enough for me.
I dont like leaving the Cup in car parks so id be well paranoid at leaving the RSF.
