that blue bit over the glove box rattles on mine, think rear speaker plasticy bit rattles and maybe the front passenger tweater too.
Renault build quality you gotta love it.
Ripped mine nearly clean off on a high kerb. Its bloody low to the ground had a job getting it back on, could hardly get my head under to see what i was doin.
Are you a hairdresser? If so get the TT, theyre also a womans car. Go for the Fiat, my mate has one and theyre classy and well nippy. Think TURBO muwahahahaha
makes me wanna smash their fingers witha lump hammer.
Had my cup two weeks before some c*unt went down the whole of our street keying all the cars, had £250s worth of re spraying done two weeks ago, she looks mint now though :o)
if someone else is paying go for the 172. mmmmmm climate control etc The cup is fun for thrashing and still getting good mpg but the 172 is the full sha-bang. Luxuries and hot hatch, you gotta love it.
youd be better off with a cup but with the VAG build quality i dont think youll be looking back. Buy it and then tell us what its like having a non rattley car. Have fun ;)
it makes no differece whatsoever. Ive tried it all over different periods of time and not noticed any difference at all. My old carbed 19 felt a little more responsive but the Cup doesnt alter at all.
It takes the piss really, whats the point of a warrenty if you have to pay for all the stuff that falls apart after a reasonable time.
Renault are the biggest chancers known to man. I like their cars but I really will have to think twice when I get my next car in 3years time.
Cups are well good on the fuel esp for a 2litre. Most ive put in mine is 46.5litres. What ive found out though is that the trip is a rough estimate, the gague is a better sign. If you turn it on and it dont move you know that youre gettin a little low lol
ive had mine read 29mph before but never get anything less than 30 even when red lining it through all the gears. 44 was the most i had, 55 all the way home from the garage when i just picked her up.
I just used to use normal 10 40 stuff £8 for 5litres, and change it every 3 thousand miles.
As the good man once said, theres no such thing as a bad oil change.
They dont lock up real easily, the cup brakes are real good. Ive done some spirited driving in mine and was very impressed with them.
Trouble is they seem to put ABS on everything these days and you dont get a feel for the brakes anymore.
