After the PC effort of a few weeks ago, I thought I'd add some of this shizzle...
After a conversation with Martin off v6clio.net, I remembered he'd given us some of the Diamondbrite stuff, so today I gave it a try - once I'd found the bloody stuff, lol.
Anyways, I don't know if the...
Picked up HOMM5 Gold Edition from Play earlier this week. It's a rare find as the HOMM series has never really been mainstream. And while the core game itself is not common at all, the expansion packs were virtually impossible to pick up from the high street.
The exception to this was HOMM3...
Even with my phobia of the Lard Eater of the Clio Range - I have to admit that it looked mighty fine.
Went along Great Ancoats Street at around 2.45pm today.

Bought the Collectors Edition off Play for a mere £12 this week and installed it last night. It's all new to me, but I did spend a lot of time on UT2004, so the basics are there in my head!
Anyone else play it? If so, send me a Player Card in the game for 'Unzen' and I'll add you to the...
I'm sorely tempted to buy this, but like f**k am I paying that for it?! I appreciate the amount of work and programming gone into it, but £56 for a game is a little steep, imo...
Spent about three hours yesterday, giving the car a wash, clay and wipe-down with some intensive tar remover. As expected, the area just behind the front wheels was fairly 'rough' with deposits - not the easiest thing to see against black gold! ;) I also got a couple of larger washers on the...
......both driver and occupant were looking under the near-side front - I hope it wasn't serious? Private plater.
Would have pulled over, but I was on the opposite side - sorry chaps.

Y-plater that joined ahead of me on the Ramsbottom slip-road, heading south. You then pulled off at Pilsworth a couple of junctions down.
I would have caught up with you, but the utter pleb in the car in front refused to pull over. And I wasn't one for bullying him out of the way. Still a tool...
Just caught a fleeting glimpse of a 182 at Heap Bridge roundabout last night that I'm sure was the sacred petrol blue colour.
It went up the slip-road at Heap Bridge, heading south towards the M62. I hope there is one of those nearby - superb colour! :approve:

Three years on and this thing still captivates me like no other FPS game out there. After the v1.50 patch for the BF2 thread, I reinstalled BF2142 again. Going straight to single player mode to get the 'ol mouse and eye coordination back up to speed, I got an in-game buddy message from...
Ok, so let's just get some stats shall we....
Age 34
No points, no convictions
Maximum no claims
Clean license since passing in March 1992
182 valued at £4k - just a random figure I picked
Jain insured on the car too
....some decent quotes came up. And at the other end of the scale, there...
First one. A heaviliy stickered up and modified '52 172 Cup. The car itself looked pretty smart, but the female driver looked terrified. Heavy rain + spray + motorway rush hour traffic + no ABS = panic. ;)
Pie-eater silver 197. It's fat arse went past both me and Mrs. Worried above.
'05 black...
We've got two seperate domains at work, ironically, for no specific reason whatsoever. Over the years, they have grown and are physically connected via the network.
We share a few folders and the odd printer, but nothing major.
As both domains are Windows 2003 Standard Server domains, are...
Fecking hell. Got to remember about the Eibachs!
Rushed across to the other office this afternoon with a thousand-and-one work things going through my head.
Pulled up, got out and then thought, shiote! No crunch, no grinding noise. I must have got away with it. I did...... just! ;)
D.
Four years after its initial release, they are still releasing patches for it. Even better, the previous two expansion packs appear to be thrown in for free :)

Just had another 5 minute go. Yep, 5 minutes as that's as far as my interest goes with it. This is on COD:WaW, but I've experienced the same with COD4.
In both games, I really, really liked the single player game. And in WaW, the zombie add-on is brilliant - in fact both my nephew and I put a...
Nowt new there, then. :(

I hope they don't kill the MechWarrior series. But I can see it happening....

I thought I'd dig out the PC this afternoon and have a practice on the worst panel on my car - the bonnet.
I gave the area a decent wash, but forgot that I had no clay left. :( Not the ideal start, but it didn't appear to have that many contaminents visible. I also had the idea of just doing...
On my way back from Birchdown. Looked like there were three lads in it with the rear passenger asleep! I was going to catch up, but I'd be doing 95+ leptons in order to do so - so I held back. Wuss. :o
Looked like you had some wanabee 4x4 bearing down on your ass anyway...

We picked up one of these little gadgets after needing to record some voice options on our phone system. As it turns out, our phone system only requires WAV files in 8-bit mono, so this recorder is 100% overkill - lol!
