I meant the fogs. I mean if you like driving round at night with foglights on then that would be a great option and tbh they don't give much light standard.
I swapped coil 1 & 4 for some second hand ones out of another car and it made it better, not great because ideally I was told they need to all be changed at once so I don't think it's the leads.
It's intermittent at the moment.
Yes I have searched but not found anything of help.
Firstly where are they?
How do I get them out and replace with new ones?
I have a spark plug adapter in my socket.
I have also ordered 4 new pencil coils, is changing both of these likely to stop my misfiring?
Some pleb had replaced two but not the other two. Stuck a couple of the same brand in and it's better now but gonna replace all 4 when I pop to eurocarparts in a bit.
This is gonna sound stupid (and my engine is different to yours)
But are they the four round things on the top of the engine with the wire that comes out on a clip?
I have removed them individually but it just stalled every time.
How do you get this off? I have unclipped the gaitor fron the bottom but how do I get the new on on?
Does it need to go over the gear knob? (Because it won't)
How do I get that off too?
Thanks
Si
Right I was driving home tonight and the car felt really lumpy.
The OBD light then started to flash. I am aware of a small leak coming from somewhere that dripped some oil on my drive the other day. Popped to halfords and topped the oil up with a litre.
The light is still flashing and it is...
