    Disappointment at Brembo discs

^ They're UV coated so don't show the surface rust as much mate
  2. George@RTR_Parts

What discs/pads setup do you use on track?

Glad you're pleased with them Josh  @MattyPerkins I'd only recommend using either Brembo or Renault rear discs. They have better quality bearings in than the other options and will last longer. That's were the cost difference is, (and I can supply a lot of manufacturers including Mintex)

    Disappointment at Brembo discs

Thought I had replied to this the other day lads The discs (any) will get surface rust on them, the rear brakes on your Cup don't do a lot. If it's the un-swept area of the disc, you can clean them and then paint them silver/grey if you want them to look fresher/cleaner. If it's the...

    Brakes

Depends what sort of ratio on road and track, but for the more dedicated track car doing harder/longer stints. The DS3000 and DS1.11 are more suited , the latter been what I run and are one of the best pads around imo

Glad you're pleased with the DS1.11 lads @MarkX @StuOwen86  I can sort them with new discs @Greeny. They're one of the best pads around, I'm waiting for mine to come in from factory as I special ordered them for my mx5 track car as they didn't list them. So practice what I preach

Sorry another " Which front brakes post "

Yes and yes. The Brembo just edges it on the road from cold/less noise but the DS2500 are a bit better on track, at the top end with the higher temps. As you are planning to do track days and they are the same price I'd lean to the DS2500. I don't really notice the noise of brakes tbh as I've...

Sorry another " Which front brakes post "

No worries Neil, the DS2500 working range is 20-500 deg C so don't need much heat in them at all Yes, the HP2000 are available and are similar money for the DS2500 in the Clio 197/200 front pads
  13. George@RTR_Parts

Sorry another " Which front brakes post "
