Renault do a special tool, but the filter should only be done up hand tight, not girly hand tight like! Make sure it's tight!!
Few years ago the garage i worked for was a unipart specialist, had a load of filter's randomly coming undone.........Faulty apparently, somethung to do with the seals!

I have 2 x cat c vehicles! Doesn't bother me. My dad's van was bought a cat c, was 1k cheaper than the rest at the time!! and my 106 run around is a cat C, to be fair, hitting a wasp would write that off, so older cat vehicles generally have little damage!

Priced one today, £3.17 including VAT, i knew they were half the price of a genuine jobbie!! It's all personal preference like, but i would pay £7 for an oem one all day long instead.
When did ufi become a performance oil filter??? or have i missed something? A few people have turned up wih them recently with there own oil must be where there coming from!!

I am pretty sure we had one of these and the oxygen sensor wire had rubbed through, the 12V feed? everytime the engine moved it blew a fuse and stopped....... worth a shifty maybe!?
