With all the others here. You will be certifiable if your bought a V6 to get trashed on a main road and do over 20k miles a year on it.
If you want fun and have that much money to blow, buy a shed and spend the rest on hookers
Fair enough. The problem with the JCW is they are a victim of their own success. Say what you like about the look of the 200 but they are rare as rocking horse sh1t and that will always make them special.
At 22 you have a Clio 200, fancy a JCW for 6 months before buying a Focus RS :S.
If you can afford to do it then great but have you stopped to consider the depreciation as soon as you drive it off the forecourt?
Don't take this the wrong way but this sounds like a case of 'more money than...
If I was going to buy a JCW, it would be this one.

I would love that, it's just not practical enough for me :(
+1
I don't want to turn the clock back 20 years. More knowledge, experience, direction and money than I ever had at 20. Don't get me wrong, my 20s were great years (pissed off round the world at 22 and didn't come back until 24. Did a degree from 26 -29. Great fun :D) but it is much healthier...
When you're 20, 25 looks old!!!!
I've said this before, a 20 year old thinks a 40 year old is old. A 40 year old thinks they're still 20.
Don't worry about getting older, I'm having just as much fun now.
WOW. Thing is I like to keep the tyres standard. I have a second set of wheels with 2 almost new Contis on them and 2 that need changing. Plan is to use those as road wheels and the set of alloys on the car for track days (if I ever do one) which is why I would like the road tyres to be the same.
Phone a couple of tyre dealers that I normally use and they are quoting over £140 fitted.
Kwik Fit online (never thought I would ever mention them again ) quoting £118 fitted.
I live in NW London.
Does this sound ok?
In the end, they're probably jealous.
Like a few of you on here, I am quite comfortable with who I am and what i like so don't give a sh1t what others think.
I'm sure I read another post recently from you Mike that said how reliable your 197 was :S.
My 197 is on almost 41k miles. Do you know why it happened to you?
