    Windows SAS.

Seriously, what's the point in MS not allowing this to be completely disabled should you want to? (i.e kiosk style applications) They can still keep up the thin veneer of "security" by keeping ctrl+alt+del un-hookable in user mode. I had to resort to writing a driver to filter out the SAS...

    Official O2 Unlock Available

Submitted mine a few days ago, not heard anything back yet though, I guess it'll be right on 14 days that they do it.

    iPhone Dock

It's nothing to do with locking down, Apple deprecated the firewire charging interface for iPod years ago, they've been telling accessory makers not to charge devices using the firewire pins on the dock connector as they would be removing support for it in future devices, when the 3G came about...

any good assembly programmers on here?

Int 21 returns the scan code in register AL. There is no default "pop" location on 80x86, it's not an accumulator style instruction set, you need to explicitly say where you want to pop the value to. PUSH 20 POP AX would put the value 20 into AX via the stack. And your final...

Turn by turn Navigation free in Android 2.0

I wonder how complete googles own mapping data is now? They also allow "community edits" to add to their mapping data, http://www.google.com/mapmaker Although it's a pity that they haven't just contributed their data to openstreetmap.

    CoPilot for iPhone

A lot of the TomTom iPhone sales I'm pretty sure can be attributed to "branding" because their software offering is nowhere near as good as their competitors on the iPhone platform. I'd read the iPhone forum over at pocketgpsworld before parting with any cash.

    Android 2.0

I still can't take any phone operating system seriously when it's application SDK is java based (and the dev tools too, eclipse...urgh), especially considering that it runs the linux kernel, shame on google.

    Usb headphones for osx

As long as they support the usb-audio class any usb headphones will work.

    Dock for Tom-Tom?

Eh? The TomTom dock is nothing to do with Apple, TomTom can select a price and charge whatever they want for it.

    iOS "must have" apps

Re: iPhone "must have" apps? Be aware that the TomTom app is considerably poorer than the standalone TomTom devices, the situation is even worse if you take into account the price point. I'd have a good read over at pocketgpsworld before selling.

    iOS "must have" apps

Re: iPhone AppStore must haves? From what I've read it's very good, much better than the other solutions and with a reasonable price tag, I think TomTom have fucked up big style here. iGO and the Navman software are w**k beyond belief, Sygic is good and it would appear that CoPilot is even...

Just proof that Sky boxes kill your download speeds...

If you're on Sky Connect (i.e through BT not LLU'd) then it's possible that you're being traffic shaped, sky have been doing this for a while apparently, I went over to my parents last week and was horrified at my dads download speed, was down to dial up speeds. Have a read of the skyuser.co.uk...
