My boss ordered a 16G on the 9th of July and it's being delivered tomorrow.
I ordered a 32GB in the Kingston store on the 6th and got it last thursday, I had also ordered online (the 10th) and my online order hadn't shipped by the time I got the store pickup email.
From this it would appear...
If the phone is not running iOS then you can't completely disable data (well, you can, you need to put rubbish in the apns), you can only disable data roaming.
On iOS4 you can completely disable cellular data.
My boss ordered one on the afternoon of the 9th and it went to "prepared for shipment" this morning.
I ordered one at 8am on the 10th as I thought I'd cover bases with my priority list order at the Kingson-upon-thames store, looks like my online order is going to ship before I hear anything...
You could hang the Time Capsule direct off the VoIP router or you can hang the time capsule off the VoIP router and the computers then off the time capsule, the time capsule can operate as a dual band access point and has 3 ehternet sockets for wired connections.
Back to my mac requires you to...
Ha, same situation, but I've been in it since before my holiday.
Whatever you do, don't buy the £10 LG jobbie from Tesco, it's unusable as a phone - it's on a par with Windows mobile. ;)
This.
The scam goes like this.
1) Applecare bought with stolen credit card.
2) Applecare is sold on ebay.
3) Apple find out that said applecare was bought with stolen card, so invalidate it.
4) Mac breaks.
5) You try to use said applecare only it's now flagged up as being bought with a stolen...
Navigon is currently on offer and is the same price as CoPilot (ok, you'll need to do the in app purchase of pull postcode for a couple of quid), Navigon and TomTom both have the best reputation on the iPhone.
And thank christ for that. Mozilla, Firefox and Gecko all need to be binned.
Google know where it's at, Webkit.
(There was a reason that Apple chose kHTML rather than gecko for their own browser....it's because gecko was bloated and not very well written)
All you have to do is go to the o2 website and enter in your phone number and new sim card number, you get a text with a code which you enter into the site and the "sim swap" starts. Mine took a couple of minutes. Probably take you longer to cut the sim!
Just a thought, you mention mail settings....
You do realise that when the display is off on an iPod Touch it disables WiFI and therefore push notifications don't work, instead it wakes up the WiFI every 15 minutes to do a check.
Step 1) Make Genius Appointment at nearest apple store.
Step 2) Turn up with "said phone" for "said appointment".
Step 3) Let Genius wave around phone and generally look purplexed.
Step 4) Genius disappears out the back and returns with a new one (although "roughing it up" in a plain brown...

iPhone configuration tool will allow you create configuration profiles for WiFI/VPN etc and then download it to the device, works for the iPod touch as well.
This document should tell you everything you need to do and the the best way of doing...
Laptop? You'd pick it up, hand either side and type with your thumbs?
And there's no way you'd be able to type like an iPhone, it's a bigger form factor. Either stick it on a surface and use both hands or hold it in one hand and use all your fingers on the other hand, I really don't see how...
As long as you have your iTunes library backup it'll all work smoothly. The iPhone is linked to that iTunes library so by restoring the library you'll restore the phones syncing ability.
un-ethical? Is that where you get Robert Mugabe to repair it or do you mean uneconomical? lol
It's unlikely that you'll be able to repair it for less than it'd cost to buy a second hand machine anyway, so it all seems pointless to me.
Broken Macbook+Bin=Solution.
(I'd keep the charger for...
TextMate is what I use, bbedit is supposed to be good but I liked the way TextMate worked so just bought that.
I use Transmit as my FTP client at home, I use Cyberduck at work. I only use Transmit at home because when I was looking for an ftp client cyberduck was crap, however, that's a long...
I wrote a docking window system which behaved (visually and logically) exactly the same as the whidbey docking windows, I did this in my own time and it was a considerable amount of work (It was straight windows API, no C++ or frameworks).
To this day I've not seen or come across a library...
It's the monitor only accepting specific inputs via HDMI.
VGA inputs on TV's/monitors tend to accept a much wider range of input resolutions, one of the VGA resolutions will be native.
Connect the MBP via a VGA adaptor and it'll work as well as the windows laptop did.
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Worst case on the 16GB 3G is that you get £1.35 less from o2recycle than you would from mazuma, if o2recycle give you the full amount then you get more from them than you would mazuma.
o2recycle will give you £269.50 (best...
