The list was random. I've had no issues with my dell at all, been a great machine. Had issues with HP's at work though but they're older models so it's not worth mentioning about that really.
Also missed out Toshiba, they're good too.
Avoid the likes of Acer/eMachines. Cheap tack
Luckily I've never had to work on one, however I have had to work on a eMac where the MOBO is split in half on each side of the screen (if that makes sense). I was shitting myself!

That's what I thought, but it was Windows memory test, not Memtest so it could be to do with that!
Should have put them on ebay! 2GB DDR2 SODIMMS fetch about £10 each!
Nah, I'm just the ICT Technician. Theres just me and the Network Manager running everything. We don't outsource either (apart from Internet + email filtering). Everything is inhouse :D

Ah crt's can make some good sparks! Haha, I had a student bring a charger that "sparked when plugged in". Decided to test it and there was sparks flying everywhere. Was only PAT tested a month prior, oops!
