    Leather treatment

If the leather is "dried out" it means its worn/fucked in theory. Sure adding something like gliptone will help protect it but it wont bring it back to "life". JD do you remember weeman's post about leather last year sometime??

    noob question

A hose is fine for cleaning. In fact for removing shampoo an open hose is better as you help sheet water off the car meaning less drying need (on a protected car anyway) If you want to use the autoglym stuff go for AG Shampoo Super Resin Polish Extra Gloss protection or Autoglym HD wax...

    Which Wash Mitt?

Noodle mitts DONT cause marring by the way. They are better then the synthetic washmitts. The one I have from I4d causes s**t loads of marks (synthetic). Yeti's fist is a gimmick and a waste of product/water IMO. I want a sea sponge for some unknown reason!

Chemical Guys - Strong Wash (Bug Bugger)

I was more on about the small trigger bottles like soo.... Although a larger pump sprayer would work..dependant on which one you actually have. I have a small hand pump sprayer that I picked up for £1 from wilco or somewhere similar which does the trick. The larger ones IMO are for people...

Chemical Guys - Strong Wash (Bug Bugger)

No pre wash as in put it in a spray bottle (foaming type??) and spray it on certain areas to break down bugs and other crap. You could use it in snowfoam i guess but I prefer not to mix any in with the snowfoam. Just incase it causes the snowfoam not to actually foam, the i4detailing cities...

Chemical Guys - Strong Wash (Bug Bugger)

Haven't used it. But I do know it's pretty good as a bug cleaner and prewash. As a tar remover though not sure. My general thoughts are anything that is "multipurpose" isn't generally that good. Ie it might be crap at tar removal.

    Lidl Machine Polisher

Your forgetting all the pads/backing plates you will need as the rotary doesn't come with any. Add that lot all up and it will be £80 odd quid. MY advice would be to have a look in the for sale sections here and on Detailing world. If you can get a DAS-6 complete for less then £80 (highly...

    Lidl Machine Polisher

For £15 more you could buy a Silverline rotary. Mine was £35 I think. Although as said you need to be VERY careful with a rotary. Especially if its your first outing using any form of polisher. I bought I DAS-6, had it for a year then sold it for pretty much what I paid for it I think (I...

    Lidl Machine Polisher

Certain paint types they dont recommend using say a Rotary...my evo paint is quite soft and have been told using a Dual Action is better as it will reduce the risk of micro-marring. Im still taking the rotary to it though :o Just going to be very careful and check my paint depths/use the least...

    Lidl Machine Polisher

In theory yes but in practice using a normal rotary polisher like a Silverline is a little bit more difficult then using a Dual action like the Kestrel DAS-6. Personally I didnt find it that much of a chore going from the DAS-6 to a rotary but then im quite a smart arse so il try anything :)...

Cant see out of them properly!! But as you said I dont need too :) Spent 45 mins on the phone to a "foreign" engineer with BT. Its like trying to get blood out of a stone, I only wanted him to test his cabling between 2 racks of our kit..."I dont have a cable tester" WTF How can you check...

    Detailing Product Help

I have never felt the need to use one. I cant see that they would do anything. The particles we are on about that cause marring are so small they will be held in suspense in the rinse bucket/solution (water) anyway. I just change my rinse bucket 2-3 times whilst cleaning. Dont even fill it...

Just something to be aware of...Do you think you will get a better service by switching to say Talk Talk?? You will still be using the same phone line, but will have more of a mission getting stuff sorted if you get an issue with your line for whatever reason. As said if you pay by Direct Debit...
