They do lose absorbency yes.
And yes I dont "always" use the light dragging technique...Sometimes blotting is all thats required. Depends how lazy I have been with using free running water to sheet off the suds. I find myself using the light drag technique out of habit sometimes rather then...
I tell you what the 3m pads feel lush compared to the MENZ ones...They felt rock hard, these feel relatively soft.
Yeah decided to use the 3M stuff..especially the glass cleaner. Im sorry but Chemical Guys "Streak Free Window Cleaner" is f**king s**t!

Yeah.
I use the big blue ones...I find them VERY good..I still like my plush I4detailing one though.
I got mine from Autobrite over on Detailing world but I think they are a generic MF and everyone seems to sell them...Much like Dodo Juice and there £95 DA which is exactly the same as the normal DAS-6's!
That Waxamomo place I always bang on about is good for delivery, Generally it was £5.95 for next day UPS for big things like APC etc...but only £1.95 for royal Mail.
I just got this lot from PB
As well as some bits yesterday from CYC
Re: What have you ordered?
That FK1000p seems a bit better then collinite on the wheels....Mine are fubar'd now and need a refurb...as well as being diagnosed with a faulty AYC solenoid yesterday :(
Edit oh I seem to be a forum user WTF
^^^ Technically yes that is what should be done. the product being used has a bit of "lube".. EVERYBODY seems to do the dry wipe CD test
Most of them will be okay for putting products on..taking them off though. Plus your also removing product from your car..IE polish/wax, which is dry. So meh...
Drying blade...scccrrrraaaaaaaaatttttccchhhhhhhhhh

I have 4 of them as well as my one from I4detailing
The big blue ones are VERY good
I usually start by placing my towel on top of the car...let it soak a little bit then drag it off with not much pressure.
TBH though i get lazy towards the end and just kinda scrunch it up and drag/swipe it over. Mine doesn't generally have much water on it anyway as its pretty well protected...
Re: What have you ordered?
Put it in a bottle with a chemical resistant head...spray a bit on and watch it do its magic..might need a couple of squirts but it does do what it says...I used it yesterday for the first time.
