    My ibiswhite S3

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Using layers with a graduation filter (blend mode - overlay), gaussian blur (blend mode - overlay). Then masking the car out on the graduation filter. No doubt there's probably an easier way to get the same effect, but that's just how I did it.

    The new beast

A 10,000 rpm drive is a fast alternative to RAID0, some people say its faster and better for gaming whilst RAID0 is better for things like video editing and large files. I suspect its probably not much difference either way. Now a RAID0 configuration with two 10,000 RPM drives now your talking...

    280bhp scooby vs track set-up 172

Well based on the figured you've quoted, he has 189.66 BHP per ton. You have 193.05 BHP per ton. But the problem is usability of that power, it will also be far easier to drive a 4 wheel drive car faster than a fwd. I suspect as well he will have a heck of a lot of torque. I'd say theres not...

    Thinking of selling up

The fact its modified also reduces the markets as you're looking for someone that doesn't mind a modified cars. Its more specialist and less likely to appeal to an average buyer. Average buyers are few and far between as they are holding onto savings rather than committing due to the current...

Lamborghini Countach http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFB6FfaNQ40 Or this which is a monster sound of a Mustang GT 500 going through Hatfield tunnel in the Uk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSOLvdDAjeo

    Iv been hussled!

If it was a private sale and you didn't check the V5 to match up the engine to the car then sadly you'll be stuffed as it will have been sold to you as "sold as seen" ie you should have checked. It would not get picked up on HPI and therefore you're not covered. You're in a better position if...

Will we ever have another car with such good performance v cost? (172/182)

Tyres like 888/A048s have fast wear rates (6000 miles, or as low as 1500 if you believe what some people post) and with the aggressive suspension on a Lotus that helps make them handle makes then stick like glue which means they wear fast as suspension components are under stress. Ball joints...

Will we ever have another car with such good performance v cost? (172/182)

Handling on the limit isn't great and are known for hedge tendencies. Engine will run forever and look great.

Will we ever have another car with such good performance v cost? (172/182)

Coming from a Lotus certainly faster and lighter, but higher running costs. The problem is suspension components are almost consumable, grippy tyres but fast wear rates, short service intervals (mine was 6k, most are now 9k) and upgrades which are always very attractive!

Will we ever have another car with such good performance v cost? (172/182)

letstorguebhp base all figures on theoretical statistics rather than actual performance.
