Depends on if it's the cd is for a branded machine and it came pre-installed on it.. i.e. If it's a HP machine, the reg code sticker on the PC base will say HP and then the reg code underneath, it will then only work on that model of HP as the copy of windows is set up for that pc. If the...

Tried rebooting using 'Diagnostic startup - load basic drivers and services only' as described in the help file for msconfig. It didn't appear this time after the reboot, so I can only assume now it's a 3rd party program thats looking for something that probably isn't there no more. :rolleyes...

Every time I boot Windows XP, it pops up a Windows explorer browser window on startup pointing to 'C:\Program Files\Common' folder. I've checked all the usual stuff, Startup folder, sysedit etc.. but can't see a reason why it would be opening the folder. Anyone know why it does this? Besides...

I bought a 1 gig Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo on ebay for my mobile phone, after searching and looking at different pictures on various websites I've found it's genuine. Not all of them are fakes. But I was wondering at least an hour if it was or not. :S

Macromedia flash is the most used.. there are other applications out there.. Type in Flash editing in google to find more.

They are the same.. but they are designed slightly different to the mk2's rear lenses, the bits of plastic on the back that sit against the bodywork are mounted differently iirc

GTA: San Andreas and some Media programs do it with mine, I've narrowed my fault down to 2 things. Either because I'm slightly overclocking my CPU or, it's a RAM fault. But I've figured some 3rd party software drivers can have the same effect too. i.e some video/audio codecs ain't 100% stable...
