Right bit of a manic weekend, turns out i sheared one of the engine mount bolts. Luckily RS clios have a extra engine mount under the engine, otherwise I'd have need a new gearbox and drive shafts.

Go with what you can afford, there is little point in recommending a YS system if its out your budget and you can only afford a blueflame. Also check the warrenty offered too, again there is little point getting a system from x. if it gives you a extra 5bhp but falls apart next month.

Just called a mate, he reckons the engine mounts are either worn or dead. If there worn then they could just be tighened up to solve the problem.

Only way to tell is in the service history book, it will have the cars origin in there, for me it was Renault Amsterdam even though the car came from Nixon Renault Hull.

Mines a '02 plate so has no ESP or cruise control, but..... There is no aftermarket alarm hiding in the engine bay like mine, and there are stickers on the panel under the bonnet which I don't have, interest.

Looks just the same as my Monaco 172, except yours has ESP, and mines a Dutch import.

Time to double check the service book!
