I nearly bought the TWR V6, is that one of the eight illiad blues? I never pressed my Vee round bends whereas with the 182 I am happy to chuck it round corners. You would have to be a seriously talented driver to win round a track in a Vee IMO.

Since it was such a good day I got out my full cleaning kit and gave the 182 the once over. Very pleased with the results :)

They are the same mirror to mirror. Mine was a nightmare to get in and out of though as door sills are much wider. Thankfully I am in ok shape so could just squeeze out. Padding on the wall is a must.

Mine will be standard after I get the Janspeed exhaust taken off.

Have to admit I get a bit nervous about all the gadgets going wrong as my 182 is substantially more kited out than the Phase 1 V6. So far all is ok though.

Saw a nice 172 in Yeovil on Sherborne Road yesterday. Something about that model / colour looks really good.

How will people be able to tell it's a Clio though?

I know there was a resprayed Mark 2 Vee going around that area but think it went elsewhere in the end.

Right so some people may have gone for the spoiler, splitter and wheels on a cosmetic basis wheras others also / alternatively did the suspension for performance reasons. I guess most people probably went for everything in one go as the suspension didn't cost the earth did it? £250.00?

Thanks buddy :) So the Cup packs were the only optional extra kit then? I think Liquid Yellow paint cost an extra £1,200, as I know it did on the Vee?

As a new 182 owner I'm not really up-to-scratch on these cars. Can anyone point me to a thread which provides some information on the optional extras that were available such as the Cup pack etc? Just trying to work out what mine has and how to check :)

Most the silver vees are phase 1 so it was probably one of them.

Those are common mods for the phase 1 vee.

I see a silver 172 on that road all the time.
