Mine was a private part exchange plus it needed a small dent removed and a few other bits done to it. I basically got my money back after 3 months so was quite happy really :)
Just thought I'd let you know that I'll be driving Dan's old Vee up as I am the "new" owner of it :) If anyone is in touch with his family please can you let them know that I am happy for them to borrow it for the lap.

Really good news guys, I think I have managed to get Dan's (and my) old V6 to the event. As things stand I will swap cars with the new owner for the day and bring it up. I would be more than happy for Dan's family to use the car for the lap so hopefuly someone will let me blag a lift so I can...
Worth noting of course that to keep the value high you will have to spend a lot of money on upkeep so in many ways whatever you gain on the residuals you will loose on the running costs.
