Just sold mine on 30k miles for £7,100 without the cam belt done. Was quite happy, I think he is being very optimistic!

I've had varying quotes so will try and sort it in the next few weeks. Must have been caused by a hand when someone closed the bonnet :(

It's a Janspeed. Was already on there when I got it. Can you spot the tiny dent on the centre of the bonnet by the Renault badge? Really need to get it sorted.

Really good news guys, I think I have managed to get Dan's (and my) old V6 to the event. As things stand I will swap cars with the new owner for the day and bring it up. I would be more than happy for Dan's family to use the car for the lap so hopefuly someone will let me blag a lift so I can...

Worth noting of course that to keep the value high you will have to spend a lot of money on upkeep so in many ways whatever you gain on the residuals you will loose on the running costs.

Yup, mint R5 GT Turbos can go for anything up to about £20k.

I think the Vee will hold it's value better in the long run.

A common move to / from the vee is something like a Lotus Elise. You need another car as they are totally impractical for everyday use.
