Had little choice Dawn :(
Love Alex's plate! A lot of people have dropped the grills as they are basically shite and rust away. Love the look of it removed personally :)
It was fun, but I treated the conditions with respect :)
Probably holds better than my mates BMW (which has been slideing everywhere lately) as there is more weight at the back.
Not sure what wheels they are but I know they are 18".
Took my Vee to Carlton Garage in Exmouth today for a service / refurb. Wouldn't usually drive her in these kind of conditions but had little choice as it's the only day I could get her down for ages.
Out the garage and ready to go:
2 hours later I reached Exmouth where the sea had...
Some chump stole the 16v badges from my old VTS. I replaced them with colour coded alternatives which seemed to put anyone else off.
Feel for you mate.
Sounds about right, you have to be careful when driving down the road too as you sometimes get a few bolders just lying on the surface. It's worth it though for the acoustics that you get.
Great place for a future Vee meet :)
I've owned a LY 182 and a Vee and I can assure you the latter gets far, far more attention. I'm not trying to be big-headed JayR but it's a fact that the Vee turns heads everywhere it goes.
Obviously I'm biased but I'm sorry, the reaction these cars get are not that of a Clio with a bodykit, you'd be suprised how many people know exactly what they are. At the end of the day, they put a smile on the faces of both owners and passers by so can't be that bad.
They definitely are not...
Bet all you FWD owners are gutted at Olly's revelation that your cars are crap. And there was me thinking they were cracking, affordable cars perfect for the open road or track :(
Well said.
Some people on here need to learn some manners, if you don't like a car by all means say this but please try being constructive. Slating a car for the sake of it goes against the spirit of the club IMO.
