Immobilisers are easy to bypass. You can disable/move the OBD port. Not sure why people went away from old school security, get a huge steering wheel lock, wheel clamp, fit CCTV, I'm sure if the car had a steering lock most thief's would walk away. People just think cars got newer the security...
What do you mean regarding 2 screens? I don't mind the looks of the 140i, but i'm yet to drive one. I think i need to do a few more test drives over next week and see how it goes. Supposed to be picking up an S2000 tomorrow with my mate so i could be using that next week!
Hmm, further investigation required i think. I think the Civic Type R's looks are a bit extreme for me. The Meg is just a bit meh, don't really like the screen inside. Things like Focus RS, A45 & RS3 don't interest me, mainly due to running costs and price to buy. I think the only other options...
I think i will go and test a fastback at another dealer to see if the suspension is a bit more bearable. The thing is i set the suspension to Normal in N mode? However i forgot that there are actually other modes like Normal, Sport & ECO (outside of the N mode). How did you set the car up when...
So today I went to my local Hyundai dealer. Having driven the car at mill brook I was interested to see what the car was actually like on normal roads. The car was registered as a 19 plate however not sure if the new suspension improvements were on this particular car. it was just how I remember...
@Arnie
I just paid to do another check on a car which does come back with a salvage record Dl15 fvm, but when i enter my card details it says there is no data found? Can you check if there is an issue?
@Arnie
Fantastic website! I have been looking at cars all day and things like Golf R's are highly likely to have been in an accident etc.
I came across a car KU15 NFR and it says it has been to the auctions twice yet it's HPI clear!!! If you could provide photos that would be great, i'm just...
A good body shop will have a gun (i think its a spectral analysis gun) which they can put on various panels of the car and it will analysis the paint. It will then base the formula they mix the paint to so it matches 100% Other body shops may do spray out cards and check the match.
Yes my thoughts exactly, there are still parts of the UK where you can't get 3G! They should make sure they have 100% coverage before moving onto the next big thing IMO.
Huawei have been allowed to roll out their 5g infrastructure but they are only allowed to be part of the edge network rather than the core due to the security concerns.
Yer as others have said probably best to let the technology and the infrastructure mature. The prices of contracts will probably go up, but once it becomes the norm then they should be the usual cost.
Ok so now I'm confused lol. I have seen some cars with a black cover that are also facelift.
So from what I understand any facelift z4 3.0 will be an si?
@Rob that's what I thought.
So this car is advertised as an si but it has the silver cover so it's not got the right engine?
I just found a great car on Auto Trader.

Yer you are right, however they both share the same engine codes according to wiki, just different power. So maybe someone could pass off a 2006 with a 3.0 lower powered engine as an si by just sticking the badges on if that makes sense.
@dann2707 how do you tell the difference between an si engine and none si. They are both n52b30, I'm worried about the potential of picking up a 2006 and someone just sticking the wing badge on.
