How you getting on with the manual, i love the heavy mechanical feel of it. So good for cruising...
Not to much to report on the car, done another oil and filter service with genuine parts around 1k ago. Seems to be running well. I did notice an issue with alignment and panel gaps and decided to investigate yesterday, i was not impressed with what i found!
Luckily it doesn't look like there...
Something like this? Not this exact car, just thinking of the engine/package as a whole. 240bhp then could remap that to 280 ish would be plenty. Or could go for the 330i instead with a better engine/tuning potential...
Picked up a brake upgrade the other day and was slightly worried about the discs. They are smooth and are basically new thickness, just a bit of flaking. Will these still be alright to use?

The Astra just wasnt raw...
I drove a Corsa Vxr nurburgring on track back to back with a normal one and the difference was night and day. I wouldn't buy a standard one let's put it that way. I drove the latest Astra vxr if that's the j shape across Europe probably doing 1500miles and it was just a meh experience. Gearbox...
Depends how much you want to spend, Logitech G27/29 are good. Also have things from Fanatec, it depends on the type of wheel you want, if it's belt driven, direct drive and how much you want to spend.
Love this, you can use a heat gun on the plastics rather than back to black, lasts longer and its cheaper. As others have said easy to turn the boost up and running it on veg is a no brainer. I'm sure you know to thin it out a bit more when it gets cold as i think @dann2707 found out IIRC
