But answer this- If you have a decat pipe on your car and the engine management light has,nt come on, does this mean that there is no bad gases being detected? Or is it jus the bulb may need changing?? lol 8months with a decat and still no lights on the dashboard.

I use 10w 50 in mine which is fully synthetic oil. The can in my opinion runs 10 times better with it! Think for a 5 litre can your looking around £30
