But you must,nt be fooled into thinking its going to give you tons more horse power but what difference you will notice is that your car will certainly pull ten times...

I had 40mm apex spring with 17s and i hit a bump and it nearly ripped the bottom of my car out! lol You can take the arch linings out which should make alot of room.

I was going to say you should really be thanking Hank of Fastchip who do the ecu mappings. Funny how fastchip supply ecu,s for both K-tec and BB tuning??

Why?

when i had my ecu remapped i only saw increase of around 6hp but the improvement over the whole car was very good, better torque&power curve throughout the rev range. Just had cams fitted but the car is running sh*t! Either the ecu programme isnt set up properly or the cams are fake! lol

Thanks for the pictures, some really good ones there. Really satisfied that we p*ssed off a few people who expected to blow us away. Was definately worth waiting till the track dried up.

I got the same springs on mine&im running 15s! i got loads of speed bumps at the top of my road. You jus have to take each one at a snails pace- Really p*sses people off who are in a hurry behind you thou ;)

Ive never thought about upgrading my 172. Its exactly what i want out of a car and for what ive done to it compared to how much ive actually spent i think ive done quite well!

Go out and buy a proper ecu for a few hundred quid.

As said already- if your looking for 200bhp+ then start with your cams packages from around 2k or if you have more money than sense id turbo it then your looking around 7-8k

imo DONT touch piggyback ecu,s- nasty sh*t! Go get the real thing then that way its undetectable and alot more realiable.

Just to add to Steve172-250 said. Ive had alot done by bb tuning and the guys really do know their stuff. They featured heavily at the french car show with a newly developed 182turbo which is running currently around 270bhp. Obviously the 2.0litre (172*182)clio were not build for turbo...

I got the same problem with mine, one side jus looked utter sh*te! Its left a large hole which jus keeps getting worse. Im thinking of replacing the wheel now because of it!
