This graph may show my car as standard which in a way proves nothing BUT it doesnt explain why all other 172s apart from one only got mid 150s!
Also a brand new trophy got mid 160s i think.

That does,nt sound right.
So its a way of Fooling the ecu?
What guarentees have you got that
nothing will go wrong?
Surely cutting...
Ive tried a million times to get one on my full fat 172 but its a waste of time. There just isnt any room at all!
One option though is to take out a foglight and run it up that way.

smt is sealed, it can be hidden, its a days work to fit and map.
Does it involve cutting into any wiring?
This is one of the main reasons i try my hardest not to take it to a Renault garage if something goes wrong because even if you tell them what is wrong they STILL insist on you bringing it in first so they can look at it then you have to wait another couple of weeks before they can fit you in. :@
Loobie lou-
You need to understand that a modified car leaves itself open to critism. But when you do something that i think could of had a little more thought gone into it then you cant really complain about what people say.
It does rather hang down alot and because of the size of it looks...

will that void the renault warranty?
As far as i see it unless renault have to do any work on your ecu then they should be none the wiser to it have been changed. But if you do ever have any problems with your car that requires them to...

Oh er Misses!
Going back to the roller results from a so called Aldon Automotive last saturday, lets face it they were sh*t...
some people will say that you tell the insurance company nothing.
But in my opinion thats the complete wrong thing to do.
I renewed my insurance at the beginning of June&told them i was getting a cat-back system fitted plus induction kit, they wanted to know roughly in hp i was to gain from...
It depends on the mods.
172 mk1s tend to be quicker as they have smaller wheels.
But after pipercross filter,cat-back exhaust and BB Tunings ECU i did a few runs with a mate in my car and did 0-60 in 6.01secs :o
Can i just say that last week i had my oil changed over to fully synthetic and my car now runs alot better alround.
Not too mention that top speed now feels comfortable. Silly thing to say but when you rag your car you can feel the strain its under but now it seems to go hell of alot better
Just to confirm as part of this test id like you to include my car as it has been fitted with the BBPT ecu.
I,ve said it before and i,ll say it again- this has made such an improvement to my car its unbelievable. ;)
