Ive spend about £800 for my exhaust, filter and Chip which has pushed me just over the 180bhp mark.
There is so much you can do. Every little helps even right down to port and polishing.
Taking it out of a another may give you the same problem clarkie cos its not use to your car. the bb ecu is new so it will lock onto your car and work perfectly as mine did-they just took out my normal one then replaced it with it and it fired up straight away.
I reckon your looking at about...
I know i have a bias opinion but ive now got the bb tuning ECU on my car and im so impressed.
Car idles the same but revs to 7.8k and i had it rolling roaded at santa pod where my car was hot through doing runs allday and with pipercross open filter and cat-back exhaust pulled 181.7bhp at the...
My excuse was that it was my first time on the strip and i ran with the 16" wheels i drove up on.
Traction was better in the far side lane i think but still took me a while to master the lauch.
But with the 5s they up the boost and it can give them that sort of times, plus they probably have...
Alot of the r5,s were running with slicks!
Plus i suppose they were able to up the boost.
It was the two cups i was trying to match all day but just couldnt get better than 15.2@89mph
Next time im gonna make some changes and see how i get on.
Funny how you guys who were at Santa Pod yesterday didnt sa y ANYTHING!!
Funny that!
I was there even did a run with a couple of you.
If you have something to say why cant you say it to their face instead of hiding behing your computer??
;)
I only managed 15.24@89.45mph! which was my fastest time out of about 15 runs i had.
Car was completely stripped out but took half the day to get the hang of how it all works and getting my starts perfect.
But it was my first time on the strip and i had a brilliant day.
2 cups both got mid...
They are based somewhere round by the South Circular, London.
But i wouldnt touch them, ive already posted on another thread my view from a guy i spoke to who use to work for renault PLUS
what about the problems clarkie had????
He brought their chip and put it in his car and it didnt work...
Right, just had this ECU fitted on my car as im the test pilot!
I have a smile from one ear to the other.
Not only does it now rev round to about 8k but its much more responsive.
Sitting in 4th then pulling away seems so much quicker than before. Not sure my top end has increased but i...

because ive measured a 4bhp loss with open filters. But i wasnt limiting my suggestions to just the filter but rather the total lack of work to get 200. even those running vastly more havent hit 200 quite yet.
By any chance Ben would...

wtf the whole point of the trophy is to be lightweight, you obviously arent into your performance enough as if you were youd realise creature comforts are not what you will get in a serious performance car
I can see your point there...
Having an open induction kit wouldnt affect it that much. Of course you may notice the car a bit sluggish in the summer but i havent felt much power loss at all with my pipercross.
