Im paying £260 a month over 5years, which i think on a car which was priced up at £12,800 i end up paying back about £16,000 but its all well and good sayin that im only paying 4k interst but in 5yrs i dont think my 172 will be worth anything near 16k!!

When my car was first set up on the omex with the cars it spit sh*tloads of flames and popped&banged all over the shop. Was really impressive but i had to get it reduced as it was a "bit" extreme. Im starting to really miss it lol

Jus seen an advert from bb tuning selling their 172 mk1. mapped to 320bhp- £8995!

bb tuning did two 182turbo conversions i think. Blue ans black one i think-check out their website,they had a video of it. It made 270bhp when first mapped :)

Sorry to say this D1CKY but its a real silly question to ask! Ive been to a fair few rolling roads and some standard 172s have not even made 155/160! It depends on the car,how the engine runs. At most id expect possible 6bhp if ur very lucky but its all guest work.

Mine was quite a late 172 although it didnt have cruise control-i was told on aome of the late 172s they had cruise control or is that incorrect. Its definately much better, feels more responsive and pulls away alot quicker.

My mate at renault looked up my reg and told me my gearbox code is JCS S130, Whereas the code on this gearbox is JCS S087 &according to the guy in the parts dept there he said it WILL fit but the ratios will be different.
