Could the stereo be wired to the headlight power for some reason , im guessing when you turn switch the headlights on it gives the lights 12v which also gives the stereo 12v id check the wiring

Hi just wondering if anyone has any tips on cleaning seats, my car is nearly 5 years old now so the seats are getting abit grubby few watermarks n stuff , is there any good stuff i can buy ive tried to clean them before but they never seem to come up any better any help appreciated cheers

The badges come off really easily there held on with a sort of sticky pad if i remember rightly i just carefully pulled them off an old bank card may come in handy

Ho got a few problems at the minute just wondering if someone has any ideas , cars a 1.4 starts fine when cold but when its been run it cranks for a while before it starts and when it does start it kind of struggles into life just wanting some ideas thanks

Thanks for the replys ive jacked it up and had a quick look underneath and took the passenger side wheel off coudnt see anything and everything felt tight , the only thing i noticed was a mount around the same area of were i can hear the noise its right at the back in the middle other than that...

Well thats another point you have brought up , its actually a mates dad he does the mobile remapping i can get it done for 100 but as you said its going to be a generic map but does that mean its crap ? I basically wanted a bit more torque from the map which is why i wanted other opinions Sent...

The 1.4 is quite nippy but mine does seem to use alot of fuel, even on the motorway its not very economical due the revs being so high at 70 i would go for a dci if i could choose again

depends which radio you have if its an update list it can be done if its a tuner list it cant be done

when i did mine (mk3) the grommet come out at the back behind the battery etc on the passenger side i just stuck a long screwdriver through and felt around for it and on the battery there should be a few little bolts that you can undo and pop the positive straight onto on mine there colour coded...

wish id of gone for a dci there seems to be good gains from them when there remmaped thanks for the advice anyway glad i didn't pay the money to have it remmaped

i dont think the smaller renault engines are any good, mines a 1.4 and it seems to use loads i had a tuned 1.9 diesel before and was far better still wish id bought a dci lol
