Hi basically when the car has been on a run and is warm , it doesnt start straight away just takes to long if that makes sense, fine when its cold just when warm , car is a mk3 1.4 and i have just changed the coils is the anything else i should try ? Thanks
Just to add to the above post if you have not got a bit to cut the whole the a stanley knife does the job fine i forgot i needed to cut a whole and this was the only thing i had

The engine light does come on every now and again but there is no specific pattern so didnt think anything of it do you think they could be related ?, and thanks for link il have a look .
Yes runs ok when started but does have a slight misfire/hesitation higher in the revs when giving it some hammer also was it £12 each as i think last time i visited halfrauds they wanted something like £90 for a pair lol
Yes mate it is , spark plugs have being changed not long back, are there any other symptoms of a faulty injector? As its a pain to start when warm but runs ok when started
Hi basically when i first start the car in a morning and try and reverse of my drive it will normally cut out i have to rev the car alot to stop this from happening , the car just feels very hesitant but the problems go away when warm, its a 1.4 mk3 if any one has any ideas thanks
The belts need doing soon which is why i am now thinking about it , if gains are minimal then i wont bother just thought it might be a cheap upgrade cheers for the advice anyway much appreciated
Check the drop links are tightned up properly, i had the exact same problem and it took me a while to figure it out but in the end this was the cause basically half a turn of the bolt and it was fixed
Ye that is kind of what i have gathered from having a quick look on the internet , but also that the 1.6 cams give abit more power when fitted to a 1.4 i no this basically gives me an answer but it may not be true because as you said if the heads are pretty much the same then the cams should be...

Sorry to hijack this thread but can i just ask what difference the 1.6 cams made and what kind of price ? Also ive got an induction kit on mine i found it ok but the noise is starting to annoy me lol so im thinking of taking it off also in the warm weather the car felt very sluggish

Depends what your wanting to do, u can get adaptors for the standard hu so you can connect your phone etc for music but as for controlling the iphone dont think you can get anything for that, i have an update list hu and i made my own cable to connect my phone search google lots of info on there
