Total waste of a decent car imo, and im guessing it a 3 mps from the intercooler on the front so even more of a waste as surely you cant drive over 20 mph lol
Number 4 is the drivers side when looking into the engine i think someone may correct me , check for water in the plug holes i had a missfire which was caused by water sat in number 4 plug hole which ruined the spark plug aswell, a faulty injector can cause a misfire aswell
Are you fitting it yourself ? If not then by the time you have bought another engine and had it fitted surely you could pick up another cheap car ? Saves the hassle
What were the symptoms when the aa come out mate ? And were is the plug you mentioned ? As my sisters runs like crap but its not the coil and as yet ive still not found the cause
Sorry missed your previous post , i had the same problem though even the slow turning over and my gearbox earth was snapped , it still looked ok but when i looked properly it was actually in 2 bits
The earth is on the gearbox mate , if you follow the wire back down from the battery you will find it , you could just attach a jump lead from the negative on the battery to the engine block or somewere similar ( decent metal surface) that will tell you if its an earth fault
Tbh i think your on the right lines there i just dont no were to start , are the fuel filters not built into to pump on the clios? Im pretty sure its not a servicable part but i may be wrong
Yes mate ive checked all that , when taken off one by one they all make the engine run differently , it doesnt missfire, it is more of a kangaroo effect , and if you try and accelerate the more you press the pedal it will slow down , if you use the pedal very lightly you can get it going , im...
