Hi guys im just wondering if anybody has and explanation for this , i recently had a misfire which i tracked down to water in plug hole 4 which caused the plug to turn rusty, i had recently jet washed the car on the outside may i add and not the engine but i put it down to this and stopped using...
i replaced all four coils thinking this was the issue but its still got problems, my serious misfire was down to water sitting in one of the spark plug holes and turning the plug rusty i replaced this and its far better now but i still have the odd misfire when warm and also a warm starting...
Alloys are in good condition just need a clean and interior is the same no rips tears or burns , i could of had the full car for about 600 but lack of funds stopped that unfortunately it was a nice spec dci aswell ! Just front end damage
Hi just wondering if anybody could tell me if i paid a good price for what i bought or not , my sisters clio 1.2 was in need of tidying up so i found her a full dynamique interior with basically every panel on the inside including speakers , switches etc , a window motor and 4 alloy wheels with...
Yes the fronts are really easy you just twist them out , i think they are the easiest bulb to change , the rear cluster arent difficult you just need a flat blade screwdriver , if you open the boot you will see the black plastic that needs to be removed
I actually looked into these kits, the power figures look impressive but the cost was quite high i think but its still an option , i think the figured were around 180 bhp but i just dont see how it could be reliable running nearly double its original power
My 1.4 also needs a cambelt change soon which is also why i was thinking about it , the 2l conversion looks far more complicated which is why i didnt want to attempt it just yet they look really crammed in , also looking on ebay i would be able to pick up an engine for around 150 - 200 which...
Trust me when i say they are far stiffer lol when driving you dont really notice but as a passanger you definately notice , but i woudnt worry about wheels scraping etc the arches are huge ive had a car full on numerous occasions and no problems at all
Lol yes i thought i would get that , my reasons are basically the car is quite new (07) i dont want to get rid for various reasons but i want abit more power , ive also never done anything like this before and i figured if its a simple conversion its a good place to start , eventually i am...
Hi just wanting a bit of advice on this , i understand the 1.4 and 1.6 are similiar engine but im just wondering are the mounts the same ?, would it basically bolt straight in , and also would the ecu need to be changed to run the slightly bigger engine ? Thanks in advance
Depends how its done really though , i have seen a sub box placed into the wheel well to stop the vibrations etc but as you say a ported box in the boot will sound the best and is the easiest method
35 mm drop on these is barely noticable , there like monster trucks to start out , i have 35 mm at the minute and its subtle if you want it to look lowered as such id go for 45 mm or just save and get the coilovers tbh hope you enjoy the car though you dont seem to see many around that have been...
Thats exactly whats putting me off doing it i dont want it to crack , mines being good until recently it wont let me out sometimes lol and it decided it didnt like a certain spark plug and ran like s**t
