what about having a blue and cream theme ? works within the euro look and can look good if done well
smooth bullets, front and back diamonds and roof and it would look quality imo
had a look on google to try and find the kind of colour i'm talking about and i can't find it anywhere ! there...
sorry to go a bit off topic but you had many dealings with Pure Motorsport Fred ? I was speaking to them about a few bits a month or 2 ago but hadn't heard much about them
no probs bud lol, i was sitting scratching ma head as to where i had offended you :S
can see how it could have been taken the wrong way now but was meaning that he obviously isn't going to master it to the standards of competing (like you did) but should do fairly well by following what you...
yeh your exactly right Jason, the start/finish line is now right at the top of the track, perfect sum up of the track aswell, if you drive it like whats written you wont do too badly
yeh been there before and it's a really good track, they have twin engined karts there aswell which are pretty quick
as for 'lines', it's only karting but it would have the same principals of any racing with regards to enter wide then keep tight to the apex through the corner and exit wide...
yeh the tape really helped, i managed to literally lift that whole lot out, there wasn't much in the car, it's just the glass in the door that was a pain
someones managed to get into the bonnet while locked out by removing the front grille and trying to get a screwdriver into fiddle with the catch, theres also a way of getting power to the reverse switch which puts power to the ignition to try and either use the fob or operate the windows (if you...
i tried to keep it slightly civilised and like i was interested so i could try and actually get a response fae him, trust me that took a lot of effort ! :rasp:
i'll post up if he replies
looks like a bit of a beast mate, might see you up at knockhill sometime when i finally get mine done
i would have expected it to be a bit under 900kg but i suppose the full cage and sequential box must bring it back up a bit
looks like a K&N typhoon mate (see link below)

i've seen kits like that work well (good torque gains) but also the...
Lou, long shot but by any chance did you pass the gyle at some point today, didn't take notice of the time but saw a nice RB pass, just seen this thread and thought there might be a slight chance it was you
will be interesting to see if there is any programmes that can reproduce it fairly well into CAD format, i've never heard of anything that can do it though
i'm stuck drawing up about 30 bridges from scratch from 50 year old drawings (wouldn't be able to reproduce them in CAD anyway as the...
why compromise on the whole car over a £300-400 exhaust ?
just get the car you want and save up for the exhaust, if you've got your heart set on an RB then you'll only be disappointed with any other colour and regret it
keep it up for sale at a price your happy with and if it doesn't go then keep it imo, as said before you risk spending £2k on a ph1 and it might end up needing a bit of work so a complete waste of time, you know the 182 is a good motor so a much better place to start (if you don't sell it for a...
nice one, nah not got anything sorted out yet but it's down my list of priorities tbh, got to get my finger out and get my new engine fitted first
what the full spec of it then mate ?
sounds good mate, any pics ?
sorry about ma pal messing u (and me) about with that cage, he's still not got back to me after chasing him, his loss in the end of the day, what cage you go for in the end then ?
i take it you just waiting on 1-2 people to pay up then you'll be all set in this GB then ?
just asking as our 172 GB payments are going to follow on once yours have been completed
tbh if you were fitting any other type of exhaust other than a Yozza or K-Tec stealth i would say 100% declare it, as it's a like for like for the standard exhaust i wouldn't bother tbh, whether thats right or wrong who is going to tell the difference ? The tailpipe (which is hidden) looks the...
yeh the 182 cat is a 200cell as far as i know and i think you will need to adapt the end of the 182 cat as i think the 172 exhausts have a different adaptor/fitting (or different lengths as above)
i'm in the same boat and want to use my 182 cat with a 182 manifold and 172 exhaust
i quite like that mate, different
would space out the rear wheels and get rid of the splitter and sideskirts though (doesn't work and makes it a bit busy imo)
just incase anyone with a 172 wants to get involved (as i know a few were keeping an eye on this thread) see the link below

ah right no probs bud cheers, was just looking for an answer either way, might get in touch with Yoz myself and see if we can run a 172 GB as the last 2 have been for 182's
we appreciate that Nick but were wanting to know if the 172 exhausts can be included in the GB at a cheaper price (as from BTM they will be full price)
