I have two sets, these for walking around town etc with. there pretty amazing, and cancel noise out really well its abit werid walking around town as you cant hear anything apart from the music and when you take them out you can hear all the people etc, you'll know what i mean if you get some...

Yer there excatly the same about from the resolution different. The D40 is 6mp which is enough to print onto A3 paper. Which is enough for me.

Dont buy it from ebay. go to a camera shop, or buy it from jessops online etc.

they kit isnt that expensive. I bought the D40 about 4 weeks ago along with a tripod a bad and a 1GB card. Came to around £380. The standard lens that comes with the d40/x is good enough to start with.

Just tried it, got the same picture and changed the exposures photoshop loaded for a min and then gave me a black picture, whats that all about?

I have a portable HD that I take to uni, and when I come home I want it to sync to a folder on my c drive so that i have to copies. Anyone know any good software to do this?

What do you photographers out there use? I have been using Lightroom from Adobe, but its completed messed my photos up in explorer now and I cant be arsd with it anymore. Are there any other good ones out there that I should look into?

Would love to upgrade for cysis, but cant afford to. Would require pretty much all new components for me to do that.
